The name of the lantern is simply based on the fact that it can be blown by the wind. The wind lamp is composed of three large pieces: outer frame, inner seat and kerosene lamp. The outer frame of the lantern is like a cuboid, with a hole on the top side, which can be used for smoking when the kerosene lamp is burned. An iron wire or iron bar should be worn on the top for portable convenience. In order to make the lamp more stable, small nails are usually driven on either side of the concave grain of the wood block to hold the glass in place.
